Webinar – Local communities and stakeholder engagement and scouting procedures

On September 19^th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. will take place the Webinar Local communities and stakeholder engagement and scouting procedures, organized by ConnectHeat, the European project aiming to develop heating and cooling communities in Europe, implementing seven real pilot cases in different EU countries and putting public authorities and citizens at the heart of energy transitions.

Chiara Brogi, RES referent in ènostra, will participate to the event, that will be the 1^st session of the train the trainer programme of the project. During the session, the speakers will examine and promote effective strategies for decarbonizing heating and cooling systems through active engagement with local communities and stakeholders. The Webinar aims to provide insights into engaging communities in the transition to sustainable energy practices, sharing the experiences and best practices, and discussing the technical support required for energy communities in urban areas. Additionally, the session will address planning considerations for establishing energy communities, including identifying optimal locations and developing effective planning approaches.
